Course Update

We had almost thirty members volunteer to come out and pull poa on the shores greens last Tuesday.  It is really going to help the greens this spring.

I personally want to thank all of you that came out and helped.  It is exciting to see that many members that love their golf course so much.

COURSE UPDATE

We received .25” rain on Monday

We will be off the paths for the weekend.

Tuesday morning a large group of members joined with our staff and we pulled Poa off the greens on Shores.

It was a major help and a huge success.

Next week we will start to apply our spring pre emerge to the golf course.

We have been plugging out animal damage on greens

We continue to Limb up trees to get more sunlight.

Hopefully we will get some dry weather soon so we can start blowing leaves out of the fairways.

Weekly Scorecard

Course Update

 

We have had 5” of rain so far this year.

Last week we began removing some dangerous leaning trees and also some trees that create too much shade for turf on Pinehurst #1 and #3

We will continue to do some tree work on #1 Pinehurst to insure good turf quality

The crew will also be blowing and mulching leaves around the property as we dry out.

We will be putting out new cups, flag sticks, and flags this week.
